The symbology is many and varied and includes flying the national ensign at half staff until noon, the red poppy, Battlefield Cross, white roses, playing and Taps.
Let us not forget those who gave all in the defense of our freedom.
It's not a "happy" day for sure but we may at least acknowledge the honor, commitment, and courage of those who served in the military.
All gave some. Some gave all. Remember your military men and women on Memorial Day. It's the least we can do to honor those who defended our freedom.
