Memorial Day 2022
Memorial Day is celebrated on Monday, May 30, 2022.Formerly called Decoration Day in the United States, this holiday is held on the last Monday in May and honors those who have died in the nation’s wars.
It began during the American Civil War when citizens placed flowers on the graves of those who had been killed in battle.
We plan to pay our respects at the local national cemetery in an effort to honor both our departed family members and the war dead of our nation.
