When I was watching The Big Bang Theory I was taken with Bernadette the microbiologist paramour of the engineer character Howard Wolowitz and her various forays into the chastisement of her husband was hilarity incarnate.

Melissa Ivy Rauch was born in Marlboro, New Jersey.

She went to Marymount Manhattan College in New York City, where she received a BFA degree.

While going to school, Melissa performed stand-up comedy around Manhattan, and soon made a name for herself on the NYC comedy scene.

She did a one-woman show called The Miss Education of Jenna Bush in which she portrayed Jenna Bush Hager the former President's daughter, garnered critical acclaim and played to sold-out audiences.

Melissa resides in Los Angeles, California, with Winston Rauch, her husband and writing partner.
She is short of stature with curves and buxom features and a high pitched voice.

I have enjoyed her comedy over the years and wish her well with everything else she endeavors in life.
