Martin Luther King Jr Day 2021

    MLK

Today is Martin Luther King Jr Day. It is a federal holiday held the third Monday in January and marks the birthdate on January 15, 1929 of the Rev Dr Martin Luther King Jr who was murdered on his 39th birthday in Memphis, Tennessee by a coward who lay in wait with a rifle in order to silence him.

Martin Luther King, Jr was born Michael King Jr and his life's calling was civil rights activism.

Dr King was spoke of and promoted activism and nonviolence in the Civil Rights Movement and successfully protested racial discrimination in federal and state law.

His life involved a number of controversial aspects which haven't generated much in the way of interest for me personally.

His sexual proclivities were not only none of my business but the acquisition of information regarding them involved a dirtbag bulldog looking cross dresser in the FBI who had quite the freaky side of his own and should have kept his overbearing, egocentric law manipulations and no character opinions maintained in dossiers to himself.

The campaign for a federal holiday in King's honor began soon after his assassination in 1968. President Ronald Reagan signed the holiday into law in 1983, and it was first observed three years later.

At first, some states resisted observing the holiday as such, giving it alternative names or combining it with other holidays. It was officially observed in all 50 states for the first time in 2000.

I don't think that Marting Luther King Jr ever meant harm to a single person on the planet ever. The standard he set is no longer in effect with false entities claiming to be representatives of his legacy like blm, antifa and other protesters touting their totally false gospel of human rights all the while seeking to control you as much as the nocharacter shitbird democrats wish such control.

Where he was out for the common man these others are ALL out for themselves and damaging the lives of groups different from them.

Rest in peace.

And then I got into Memphis, and some began to say the threats, or talk about the threats that were out of what would happen to me from some of our sick white brothers. Well, I don't know what will happen now. We've got some difficult days ahead. But it really doesn't matter with me now because I've been to the mountaintop. And I don't mind. Like anybody I would like to live a long life. Longevity has its place, but I'm not concerned about that now. I just want to do God's will, and He's allowed me to go up to the mountain, and I've looked over and I've seen the Promised Land. I may not get there with you, but I want you to know tonight that we as a people will get to the Promised Land. So I'm happy tonight, I'm not worried about anything, I'm not fearing any man. Mine eyes have seen the glory of the coming of the Lord.
