I have a friend who is the closest thing but I get the impression that she's pretty much had it with men due to past experiences but tolerates me because I'm unobtrusive, indulgent, and cuddly.
While I once would fall into the pit of depression and whine and moan and groan now I simply sigh and get on with life.
Ah yes, I have become a man at long last.
So Valentines has past and now we have another chance at amore on National Lover’s Day which is an April 23rd observance in a similar vein.
The day is for celebrating your love of a significant other.
This day is said to have origins in Saint George’s Day which is a European observation which falls on the same day.
