Since 2002 I've been playing the lottery. Prior to that time I never played it at all ...
Nor did I miss it either. Now I do about 60 bucks a week on the three games I indulge, Powerball, Megamillions, and Lucky for life.
I am also left a bit chapped with the Powerball organization which restructured their game such that the powerplay multiplier no longer applies to the five white ball winner, opting instead for a straight but totally crooked $2 million if you hit it.
I am considering cessation of Powerball play because I view their organization as totally unscrupulous and immoral.
But anyway, the entirety of my venture into the lottery games offered in my area has been a total waste of time and money. I play 1 ticket per game, that's 5 plays each.
Any winnings are reinvested into the game, i.e., I don't take the winnings but simply buy more tickets in whichever game is highest.
This typically excludes Lucky for Life which is the lowest dollar amount ... but also that game in which I do the best overall.
So, as I embark on this, my eighteenth year of playing this loser for me personally all I would ask is your best wishes for luck and indeed I don't view the future as anymore hopeful as the past has been.
I keep wondering why I bother to play at all.
Good luck to you if you play these taxes on the poor people of the world, we who play the bulk of the entries enriching the coffers of crooks like the Powerball organization.
