Like so many others, I am fortunate to have the day off.
Here in the United States it is a public holiday we celebrate on the first Monday in September.
It is held in honor of the American labor movement.
It takes note of the power of collective action by laborers, who are essential for the workings of society.
It is the Monday for which this long weekend known as Labor Day Weekend has been declared as a Federal holiday ...
