I have scared a few people along the way because there is certain phraseology with which I have been experienced.
Today is International Translation Day.
It is observed each September 30 under the auspices of The International Federation of Translators since 1953 to honor the work of language professionals who connect nations in an effort to foster development, a sense of international peace, and universal understanding.
It is held on September 30 because that is the feast day of Saint Jerome.
He was a Christian scholar who translated the Bible into Latin and is known as the patron saint of translators.
