International Sushi Day 2024

When I think of sushi I think of Inakaya Watanabe on Jamil Road in St Andrews.

I have been going there quite the long time and my tastes have evolved into a sophistication I never thought I would know.

I was opposed to consuming raw fish for years prior to my first visit. After that it was all over. It was simply too delicious !

Those taste sensations created by the itamae Ryo-San are something to long for when you're not there. I typically dine with a lot of others who say how they go there several days a week.

In actuality I would love that but I typically consume a check in the range of $120 so it may not be feasible.

Today is International Sushi Day.

It is held June 18th anually and is one of the many fine times to enjoy a plate or two of sushi.

Now I like a little sashimi and other things with my meal but the attractions for me personally are Toro, Saba, and Unagi.

I simply can't ever get enough ...
