The lotteries in my life are mostly Megamillions and to a MUCH lesser degree, Powerball.
I don't play much Powerball anymore because I have come to think the game is run by crooks out to change the rules continuously.
It has really turned me off.
As a rule I don't do scratchers at all. This is only because I am pursuing much larger prizes. I seem to be in the minority around here, however.
So twice a week I post a Megamillions play using two sets of number of my choice then three addtiional quick picks. If I have winnings, I usually practice dividend reinvestment by spending the money on more plays. Occasionally there is a buck or two left with which I tip the vendor ...
But that is far and few between the many plays in which I engage.
That pursuit of karma is a big part of the superstition indigenous to games of chance and fate such as the lottery. I mostly play in the hopes that lightning may strike and lay something big on me for a change. Not much of that happening, however.
