It is a devils food cake replete with white cream frosting inside and ganache style frosting outside and a piped vanilla icing squiggle across the top.
I have been known to consume these with great abandon on occasions and it was no wonder that I was an obese child long before it became a national tragedy.
So on this observance of the Hostess Cup Cake I hope you can take the opportunity to partake.
It's far beyond indulgence as far as I am concerned.
