Happy Birthday in Heaven
My Stepfather passed January 27th of last year in a tragedy too profound for words. Our memories of him sustain us during this time which must pass before our joyeous reunion in the afterlife — but I miss him every day.As are those who have cared about me in my lifetime I have cared back and over the years I have found that grief is simply an aspect of love and as such it's difficult to resolve and impossible to ignore.
Today would have been his 84th birthday and I just want to mark the occasion because he remains here with me abiding in my heart.
