Clinton Eastwood Jr. was born May 31, 1930 in San Francisco, to Clinton Eastwood Sr who was a bond salesman and later manufacturing executive for Georgia-Pacific Corporation and Ruth Wood (née Margret Ruth Runner), a housewife who chose a career path as an IBM clerk.
He grew up in Piedmont, California.
His interests there included music and mechanics but he found school boring.
In 1949, the year he graduated from high school, his parents and younger sister Jeanne moved to Seattle.
He relocated to Oregon and did various things until his return to California and enrollment in LA City College from which he ultimately dropped out to pursue acting.
Lucky for us !
He became a client of Durk Pearson and Sandy Shaw and incorporated their Life Extension program into his schedule long ago. This must be how he has weathered the years so well with his faculties intact.
After my 'Harry Callahan' phase of the early 1980s my favorites in his repitoire are Gran Torino in 2008, Space Cowboys in 2000, and Unforgiven in 1992.
He has superior politics, a great acting style, and remains one of my most favorite actors of all time.
