There was a news item on the Today show back when Hugh Downs was in charge.
This was a diferent time and place from the woke joke Craig Melvin 30 pieces of silver liar format presently in use.
They did a piece on her and showed some of her works.
They also spoke of how her painting career didn't even start until she was 78.
She has had great commercial success and graced magazine covers, appeared on television and even had a biographical documentary.
She won numerous awards as well and was awarded two honorary doctorates.
Grandma Moses Day is observed each September 7.
It brings light to the talents of artist Anna Mary Robertson Moses aka Grandma Moses.
She was born this day in 1860 and is remembered for the beautiful primitive works she produced and that inspiration she provides to people embarking on a late start in life.
