Geek Pride Day 2018
Geek Pride Day 2018 Today is Geek Pride Day, a rather informal initiative to promote geek culture which comes down each year on this day.It began in Spain in 2006 and has spread via the internet and came to the fore in US geek culture two years later.
Though I am the classic geek with pursuits that are highly technical and eclectic ... I don't really indulge geek afterhours pursuits such as cosplay, card games, many of the films and such.

It's okay though because when it comes to those things in geekdom which really matter like writing programs, troubleshooting networks, repairing hardware, and subject matter expertise I can certainly hold my own with the best of them.
