Fall Equinox 2025

Autumn Leaves
Summer has now waned to the point that autumn has arrived, as evidenced by the fall equinox today.

The sun has crossed the celestial equator heading south in the Northern hemisphere on the 22nd of September (September 22, 2025, at 2:20 pm EDT to be exact) as we bid farewell to the hot summer weather and hello to what is already becoming cooler autumn weather on the horizon.

We have noticed that there has been a drop in the temperature and humidity around these parts.

I personally feel it is a function of that interaction between the celestial bodies far beyond our reach.

Thusly the fall season commences and none too soon for me. I prefer the more moderate cooler temps of autumn myself but it's merely a personal preference. If you find yourself a "sun seeker" you likely prefer summer.

At any rate fall is here and I am glad.
