She was one of those ubiquitous personalities of television and movie theaters and I watched her sing and perform those various venues like everyone else during those times.
I used to sing along with her rendition of Que Sera Sera and indeed it was one of the earliest tunes I ever took to heart.
Those television shows and various appearances I saw pale in comparison to the moments of intro to her television show when I sat there as a chap each time and watched as she was singing that tune.
Doris Mary Ann Kappelhoff aka Doris Day passed today at age 97 in Carmel Valley.
