Christmas Afterglow

    A Charlie Brown Christmas Tree
Today is Saint Stephen's Day, when we mark the life of the first Christian martyr who was stoned by order of the San Hedrin as Saul of Tarsus (who became the Apostle Paul) held the cloaks of those participating.

Yesterday I spent time at Mama's with my sister and her family and it was a pleasant yet exhausting day. I ended up crashing in a heap and oversleeping later upon my return home.

I've been tweaking my SSL/TLS installation on my web server, having done the same thing last week on the mail server.

There were more issues to address as I really didn't realize just how many hard coded URLs exist on the three sites I maintain.

Be all of this as it may it went well and I am happy to report few remaining issues ... which I will address as they arise.

So there may be more in the way of visitation and likely another exhaustive interlude as I work my way through the week off and return on the 30th to the two workorders I know have arrived during the iterim.

I'm glad I have no pen pals. I'm ready for down time. It's all too much for an old fart like me to bear.

This may be the second day of Christmas but it's all over for me personally til next year.
