I am what is known in the venacular as a "hygiene freak". I seek cleanliness as both a germaphobe and an individual keenly aware of presentation and comportment in mixed company. I would never attend a public event in the obvious state of diminished personal hygiene — which apparently has become commonplace in our twenty first century schizoid world.

This move was an effort to promote social awareness in the presence of your fellow concert goers more than any thing else I believe; although the very thought of having to ADVISE adults to tend to personal matters such as bathing is rather disconcerting for me personally.
Our handle on how others perceive us is obviously somewhat lacking in the younger generation as evidenced by the very notion that a cautionary advisement is even necessary.
