Adventures in Server Issues

So I've blown away and reinstalled my new cluster servers several times now. Each successive install is an improvement over the previous iteration. Then I discover some new approach and decide to go for it.

It's amazing just how much things can change ... not only between OS distros but the configuration of existing packages (of the same version, no less) contained therein.

Yesterday was a good day for learning the subtle nuances of the new distro and I'm at home with a lot more than just the application configuration issues.
