WHell ... it turns out that 2 out of 3 had fatal run time errors, both associated with cut and pasted code segments where I neglected to accommodate the separate pages ... which were formerly one.
So, after frantically patching things up in the database and scripting which took every bit of 5 minutes or so I was up and running on all three without errors at all.
This is a classic example of what can go horribly wrong when multitasking fails completion.
I wish I could say that this will never happen again ... but only time will tell.
