A Week Before Valentines

So today it's a week til St Valentines Day. No real anticipation here ... it's just that this will be the first year we won't be having any chocolates for the office. That ugly chocoholic in me has pretty much done me in on the candy front and I need to avoid it all like the plague. To top it all off we're having something of a heatwave here in February ... just the 80s but hey, where's my arctic vortex blowing cold air all over the peaches. Suffice it to say that the reason for the season rapidly eludes me given the state of my metabolic syndrome x and all the triglycerides and carbs I seem to be unable to avoid. Hope you have a better time than I'm having with all of this. Gearing up for the let down. |
