7-11 Free Slurpee Day is canceled due to COVID-19

When I was a child I frequented the 7-11 store near my home in Hanahan, SC. Often times I would buy a frozen drink called 'Icee'. This product evolved into another manifestation called 'Slurpee' but it remains essentially the same frozen drink product from my childhood.

Today is supposed to be Free Slurpee Day at participating stores of the 7-11 chain in North America. 7-Eleven's Free Slurpee Day is canceled due to COVID-19 like so many of the other wussies in retail, the mainstream media, and local and federal government agencies.

I don't feel that I will ever contract coronavirus due to that prophylaxis I have provided to myself during the so-called "pandemic".

So many of us now feel there is some ulterior motive behind this declaration. The democrats have taken it as an opportunity to get everybody wanting entitlements and handouts with unemployment benefits eclipsing wages earned by those receiving them in a rather blatant move to "buy" votes ... which is ALL they're good for.

I've heard speculation that the lockdown in effect is an attempt by the government to "count us" though I feel this interpretation to be rather dubious at best.

So you can still get that free Slurpee via contact of the 7-11 chain but the underlying mess is the problem here.

I am one who believes we should have never had a shutdown. Furthermore, we should have expelled all Chinese nationals who are not citizens and nuked China right about the Wuhan Province and Tiananmen Square as well as those strongholds occupied by the rulers of the blight on the face of the earth which is mainland China.

The consequences for releasing this plague on the world have been grossly inadequate.
